Umang Welfare Foundation was providing food and other essential items to the needy people along with rescue operations. It is worth mentioning that the district administration is continuously doing all possible work for the needy people who were affected by the rising water in the Badi River a few days ago, while the Umang Welfare Foundation was also providing rations, water, and other essential items to the needy people near Badi nadi. Chairman of Umang Sansthan Hardeep Singh Badungar and President Arvinder Singh jointly informed that, due to a problem in the bridge built near the Badi River on the way from Patiala to Chandigarh, the road to and from there was completely closed. Due to which all the traffic was going through the road adjacent to Badi nadi and going to Sirhind and Rajpura Road. Due to which there was a continuous big traffic jam, but since the early morning, the Umang team has been taking charge to ensure that the traffic is smooth and there is no traffic jam of any kind. Both of them specifically said that apart from ambulances, cash vans, and people going due to emergencies, the common man is not facing any kind of problem. On this occasion, apart from other members of the organization, Anurag Acharya, Paramjit Singh, Rajinder Singh Lucky, Dr. Gurdeep, Himani, Goldie, Vikram, Sandeep Kumar, and Dr. Gaganpreet Kaur performed the duty of opening the traffic jam on the big river. They jointly appealed to the people that instead of sitting at home, this time, they should come out and help the needy people in every way, so that no one sleeps hungry. Along with this, a medical camp was also arranged for the needy people.
